School for the visually impaired. The St. Ludmila Christian Youth Home (KDM), founded on August 31, 1992, is a pension-style youth home accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. This specific accommodation model better reflects the needs of high school students in a metropolitan environment.
The commemorative Bell #9801 stands on a ponton by Prague’s Smetana Embankment, honoring the fate of the bells confiscated by the Nazis from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and taken to Germany during World War II.
